Egg Processing Plant

SSP Pvt. Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 and ASME Stamp Certified company offers Egg  Powder Processing  Plant on Turnkey basis. The design & the capacity of the plant are customized and is made with SS304 and SS316 grade.

In production of whole-egg or egg-yolk powder, whole eggs/egg yolks are homogenized, filtered and pasteurized. Then this homogenized pasteurized mass is fed to spray dryer to get the dry powder.

Whole egg, egg yolk and white (albumen) can spray dried separately. Although egg white and egg yolk powders have very different characteristics, spray dryers of similar designs can handle both types successfully.

Egg albumen is fermented by means of bacteria, yeast or enzyme to reduce the content of glucose below 0.1%. This also applies to conditions of pasteurization. Prior to drying, egg albumen is filtered to remove chalazae, and foam created during fermentation. Then the filtrated solution is fed to the spray dryer.

The major section of the Egg Processing Plant offered by SSP constitutes of Egg Yolk / whole egg processing section, spray dryer with powder cooling system for egg yolk / whole egg, Egg white processing and fermentation section, spray dryer with powder cooling system for egg white , C.I.P system, liquid egg white pasteurization (for liquid egg sale purpose) (optional) & egg shell dryer (optional)

The minimum commercially viable capacity of the plant is 60,000 egg crushing per day .
